Creating Express Entry Profile
No documents uploaded to IRCC at this stage. Required for verification before profile submission:
Identity and Education
Valid passport (all biography, signature, visa, and stamp pages)
Language test scores (taken within last 2 years)
Proof of Canadian education: certificates and transcripts for all Canadian study programs (if applicable)
Education Credential Assessment (ECA) report for non-Canadian education (if claiming points)
Provincial nomination certificate (if applicable)
Work and Financial
Details of skilled work experience (positions, duties, dates, hours per week)
Available funds details (for Federal Skilled Worker Class)
Written valid job offer from Canadian employer (if applicable)
Certificate of qualification in trade occupation from Canadian province/territory (if applicable)
After Invitation to Apply (ITA)
Submit these documents within 60 days of receiving ITA:
Application Forms and Identity
PR digital photo meeting IRCC specifications
Representative submission letter (provided by YCI)
Use of Representative Form IMM5476 (provided by YCI)
Marriage certificate or Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (if applicable)
Proof of legal name change or aliases (if applicable)
Current and past immigration records and permits
Background and Medical
Police certificates from all countries where lived 6+ months since age 18
Immigration medical exam (IME) from panel physician
Financial
Proof of funds (for Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Skilled Trades programs)
Funds must be available at application and when IRCC issues PR
Work Experience Documentation
For principal applicant (inside and outside Canada) and dependent spouse (if claiming Canadian work experience):
Employment or joining letters
All pay stubs or salary certificates
Reference or experience letter on company letterhead including:
Applicant's name
Company contact information (address, phone, email)
Name, title, and signature of immediate supervisor or HR officer
All positions held during employment
Job title, duties, and responsibilities
Job status (if current position)
Dates worked
Hours worked per week
Annual salary plus benefits
If work experience is in Canada, also provide:
T4 tax forms
Notice of Assessment (NOAs)
Additional (if applicable)
Proof of relationship to relative in Canada and their immigration status (if claiming points for having relative in Canada)
Dependent Spouse
If including dependent spouse:

Dependent Children
Definition: Under 22 years and not married/common-law, OR 22+ years and financially dependent on parent since before age 22 due to physical or mental condition .
For each dependent child:
Valid passport (all biography, signature, visa, and stamp pages)
PR digital photo meeting IRCC specifications
Birth certificate
Immigration medical exam (IME) from panel physician
Key Requirements
Language tests: Valid for 2 years from test date
ECA report: Valid for 5 years, must be for immigration purposes
Police certificates: From every country where lived 6+ months since age 18
Medical exam: Valid for 12 months (unless extended by public policy)
Proof of funds: Must show unencumbered, transferable funds available
ITA deadline: Submit complete application within 60 days of receiving ITA
Processing time: 6 months for most applications after submission
Signature Authorization (Optional)
Provide clear signature on white paper with blue pen for digital insertion, or manually sign forms and send scanned copies.
