Ontario Public Colleges Consortium Agreement
1 min read
We recommend you to choose your college and program carefully and we discourage the college change after arriving to Canada
Please be advised that if the college for which the applicant is applying is part of Ontario Public Colleges Consortium Agreement, the following restrictions apply:
- If the applicants already have an offer from another Ontario Public School and got study permit using that LOA, they are not allowed to apply to another college for the same intake as their current LOA shows. In this case, they can only apply to a following intake.
- If the applicant already has an offer from another Ontario Public School and got study permit using that LOA, they must complete at least 1 semester in that school before they start the class in another college. If the applicant just used the LOA to get the study permit but never enrolled in the school, no Ontario public college will be available for the application, even for the next intake. Such applications should be cancelled.
Centennial College / Algonquin College / Cambrian College / Canadore College / Conestoga College / Confederation College / Durham College / Fanshawe College / Fleming College / Georgian College / Lambton College / Loyalist College / Niagara College / Northern College / Sault College / St. Lawrence College / St. Clair. College
If the applicant is onshore and enrolled in any colleges above, 1st semester transcripts are required for application submission.
For the colleges that are not in the list, school will review the application case by case, but in general, Ontario colleges do not encourage applicants to transfer without completing at least 1 term to avoid future complications.
